2017 Crawford Forum

2017 Crawford Forum

The 2017 Crawford Australian Leadership Forum convened in Canberra on 18 to 20 June 2017 at The Australian National University.

The 2017 Forum, in its fourth year, is the premier leadership event of its kind in Australia. The Forum brings together, by invitation only, 150 of Australia’s top leaders – fifty each from business, the public sector and politics, and the research and advocacy community – together with a dozen or more distinguished international speakers, to address the major geopolitical and economic challenges facing contemporary policy makers.

As with the three previous Forums, our collaborative partners were the Business Council of Australia and the Australian Financial Review.

Under the theme of “Global Realities, Domestic Choices: Responding to a Digitalising, Deglobalising, Post-truth world”, the 2017 Forum focused on appropriate public policy responses to some of the most difficult economic, security and social problems facing the world in general, and Australia in particular.
